Packaging and packaging waste Regulation EU2025/40
The PPWR is the new European regulation on packaging and packaging waste. It replaces the PPWD in phases. Unlike a directive, a regulation applies directly in all EU Member States. This means that companies must comply with this law directly, without countries having to transpose it into national legislation first.
