Packaging recyclability is expressed in the performance grades A, B or C as described in Table 3 of Annex II. Packaging unit's recyclability is classified based on these grades; a grade below 70% (Grade C) is considered technically non-recyclable and its placing on the market shall be restricted from 2030. From 2038, packaging must be at least Grade B to be placed on the market.
