Biobased plastics [PPWR definition]
Biobased plastics are made from biological resources, such as biomass feedstock, organic waste or by-products, and irrespective of whether the plastics are biodegradable or non-biodegradable.
Examples: Bio-polyethylene from corn and PLA from plant sugar
