Definition Recyclability PPWR (valid from 12 Augustus 2026)
The compatibility of packaging with the management and processing of waste by design, based on separate collection, sorting in separate streams, recycling at scale and the use of recycled materials to replace primary raw materials. According to the regulation, this means it is designed for material recycling and can be recycled at scale.
